The Only Way To Be Wildly Productive Is With ADD

Productivity isn’t just about how efficient you are.

It’s how efficient you are on the right things. When you focus on what matters and say no to everything else, results begin to compound one day after another.

Unfortunately, so many people let small, wasteful redundant activities consume their day.

They fail to produce results because they confuse busy with productive.

People don’t learn how to become their most productive selves because:

• They react to tasks.

• They don’t know how to say no.

• They don’t know what’s important.

• They don’t know how to create task leverage.

But overcoming these barriers is simpler than you think.

Here’s how to be more productive by leveraging your ADD:

Step 1: Automate as many of your tasks as you can.

With the mass availability of low-cost technology, you can quickly and easily automate many redundant and repetitive tasks.

For example, you can send repeat reminder emails to your team with Zapier, deploy a customer service case with Salesforce flows and Asana, or create a wow experience for your new customers using ActiveCampaign automation.

Start by identifying high-impact, high-usage tasks. Then, consider how you can automate these tasks.

Step 2: Delegate what you can’t automate.

You never want to do something you can delegate or delegate what you can automate.

Delegation still requires human labor. So, always try to automate first, or even better, delegate what to automate.

When you delegate, you’re not only allocating the asset of time into the right categories (e.g., a $ 15-an-hour activity delegated so you can focus on a $25,000 activity), but you’re also mentoring, coaching, and building up other people.

Step 3: Do only what deserves your attention.

If you focus on everything, you focus on nothing, so focus all your attention on what matters the most.

When you just remember this, it’ll transform how you convert everything you do into an actionable priority that will move you closer to your vision, mission, and goals while considering your unique values.

If it doesn’t deserve your attention, delete, defer, automate, or delegate it.
