The 6 Ds for Massive Productivity
Productivity is easy when you’re not spinning your wheels on useless activities.
Being an ADHD CEO, I know how easy it is to take a sharp turn down a rabbit hole. You review your day or week and wonder what real progress you’ve made. A lot was done, but nothing substantial.
As a business, real productivity comes from a small number of vital tasks and priorities. Then, the team works “relentlessly to improve each of them, knowing that if they’re successful the financial statement will ultimately reflect their success,” writes Jason Jennings in the book, Less Is More.
Productivity comes from your relationship of output versus your quality of input.
Here are six productivity filters to help you improve your quality of inputs:
1. Delete
Are you working on things that add immense value to your priorities?
We often get stuck in doing things just to do them, but that’s wasteful. Dare I say even sinful.
If it adds no value, delete it.
2. Defer
Does a specific task need to be done right now?
