Success Is Born From Boring, Mundane Consistency. Here’s How To Embrace It.
Nothing is exciting about success.
It’s a grind. But we live in a world where everybody seeks instant gratification. Instead of squats, people want a butt lift. Instead of losing weight, people accept their cushiness and hide behind convenient excuses. Instead of committing to a goal/craft/skill, people job hop.
We’ve accepted that the best things in life must come to us in no more than two days or via the flick of a finger.
I wanted to hit $100,000,000 and could taste the victory.
But for me, it’s never about the money; it’s about the challenge. So I gave myself ten years. A damn decade! But fifteen years later, I’m still scratching and clawing.
Success is never instant:
It’s a marathon, not a sprint.
In my twenties, I was always in search of successes destination.
Every time I’d make it to the end, I’d quickly replace it with another. I was never satisfied. I built my life around reaching a series of goals. I never celebrated. I never took the time to appreciate the path I took and all the lessons along the way.
