Problems Are Illusions Of The Mind
The mind loves problems.
It gives you an identity conjured up by emotions and fears. “Problems” mean you live in a mental situation without there being the possibility of taking action right now. You become overwhelmed by these problems, and they become who you are.
Or, as Eckhart Tolle puts it, you carry the “burden of a hundred things that you will or may have to do in the future instead of focusing your attention on the one thing that you can do now.”
When you create a problem, you then create pain.
Stop creating pain for yourself and others around you.
Most problems are a creation of the mind.
You project some future event, and you dwell on it. It becomes who you are, every moment of every day.
Your life becomes a life of perpetual anxiety and fear.
To stop the perpetual pain, do this exercise:
Focus all your attention on the present moment. Focus intensely on right now.
Once you’re fully present, explain to yourself what problem you have at this very moment.
“It’s a sobering exercise as most people will have no problem at this very instance.”
