Most people want freedom, but instead, we become shackled to our compulsive habits, our emotions, and what we accumulate over time.

Growing up, I watched my parents build a successful company.

But over time, it became their prison. Sure it allowed them some flexibility and comfortability, but the impact wasn’t freedom; it was shackles.

As soon as you’re born, you slowly become less free until you die.

We’re all victims of things robbing us of what we truly want in life, freedom.

Step 1: Stop blaming others.

Blame stops us from being free.

We blame the government, other people, and the weather. We find scapegoats for our own life decisions. But, we hate to admit it; the problem is me and the decisions I’ve made.

It’s rarely someone or something else.

All your stress, anger, or emotions comes from how you react to certain events.

If someone says something mean to you, you had a difficult period in your life, or your job sucks; you can’t blame the events. You can only blame how you’ve reacted to those events.
