5 Simple Tips Guaranteed To Help You Blast Past Your Goals
If you focus on everything, you focus on nothing, so you must get great at focusing all your attention on what matters the most.
From someone with ADHD who thrives in novel environments, I know it’s always easier said than done. Most days, I used to do a little of many things but never made any substantial progress on anything.
So I had to learn, through trial and error, these tactics to help me focus:
1/ Say no to distractions.
This is obvious, but we all are pretty shitty at it.
You have to learn to say yes to what matters and no to everything else. Will this upset some people? Likely, but who cares.
This is your life, so focus on what matters.
Key Action: Schedule three priorities for tomorrow and work on them for 90 minutes each.
2/ Create systems, not goals.
The most successful people apply systems to their preferred outcomes.
Systems are assets that keep on giving. So, instead of a once-and-done goal, learn to build systems that continue to work for you indefinitely.
